How to maximize your marketing budget by using and reusing video content

If you think making a video is a one-and-done, you’re definitely wasting money.

And Catholic organizations are notoriously amazing at squeezing every last drop out of impossibly-tight budgets.

So think of your marketing video shoot as getting a gallon of milk. You could just drink it, but it’s also the raw ingredient that you need to create so much more.

Let’s say you film a welcome video. You interview the director or pastor, a member or two, and film at one of your events or services, and capture some general footage of your building.

Put together that 1-3 minute welcome video for your website, and also post it on social media. Great. You have your glass of milk.

But chances are, you’ve used less than 1/10th of the footage you filmed. And if you stop there, all that potential goes to waste.

Instead, think outside of the glass.
